Indian population, Indian export target, Sudan crisis,Supreme court on same sex marriage

1.India is the most populous nation in the world: Earlier China was the most populous nation but now India has surpassed China as per UN data . India’s  population is slightly higher at 1.428 billion while China has 1.425 billion population .India has to find jobs for half of the population which is under 30years of age. While India’s population is expected to reach 1.668 billion by 2050 China ‘s population will contract to about 1.317 billion .2.India’s dream of becoming 2 trillion dollar economy – Is it achievable? : When global economy is slowing down India’s export may hit 770.2 billion dollar which is record high . By 2030 India has the export target of 2 trillion . India’s merchandise exports is contracting in the last few months actually. But services are increasing steadily .We need high rate of growth in merchandise export. It will create job also .Indian electronic export has surpassed the export of garments in 2022-23. Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme propels export . 3Sudan crisis and Indian safety :  Cease fire agreement failed which has led to killing of hundreds in Sudan. Sudan  has seen many coups and civil wars since independence in 1956 . Recent fight is between Sudanese army and rapid support force(RSF)  which is a para military group . Sudan was run by army ,General Apdel-Fattah Burhan ,a coup leader . RSF by general Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo was supporting Sudanese army to be in power in 2023. Civilian rule was expected but instead of civilian rule RSF and Sudanese army started gun fights in power struggle. Indian external affairs ministry is watching closely the safety of Indian Nationals with the Quartet countries of the US,UK,,UAE and Saudi Arabia.4.Supreme court on same sex marriage: Center claimed the view of petitioners was ‘Urban and Elitist.But court started that there is no data to support Government stand as Urban and Elite’ .
