Marvel’s Moon Knight gets a Premiere Date

Marvel’s upcoming superhero series is all set to release on 30th March of this year in Disney plus Hotstar. The first poster and trailer of this ‘Moon Knight’  received a warm welcome from the audience and has set social media on fire. This series stars Oscar Issac in the lead role and is created by Jeremy Slater. The brand new look of the Moon Knight role and the captivating trailer and poster has created huge expectations in fans. The team also released a video on Oscar Issac’s reaction to the trailer. Fans and Co-stars Remember Betty White on her 100th Birthday

Although the iconic TV star passed away just short of her 100th birthday, fans celebrated her special day in her style. Betty White passed away on December 31, 2021. Her centenarian was celebrated by her fans on 17th January. To honor her love for animals, people collected donations for animal shelters and created a hashtag #BettyWhiteChallenge to make gifts on her honor. Her co-stars remembered Betty White by sharing the memories on and offshoot with this iconic lady.

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 2 Expected Soon

The big announcement on ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ was made in 2020 and now season 1 has got a release date. It is all set to be released on May 5, 2022. Even before the release of 1st season, the series was renewed for season 2. The makers of Star Trek have promised to deliver a fantastic sci-fi entertainer to the fans. Season 1 will drop on Paramount Plus streaming service and the episodes are ready to be telecasted weekly starting May 5.

64th Grammy Awards Event Rescheduled to April 3

64th Grammy Awards, which was earlier scheduled to take place on January 31st in Los Angeles, now got a new venue and date. The grand event that got Justin Biber, Olivia Rodrigo and many big names as nominees will now be held in MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. The event is planned for April 3 and it’ll be the first time that Los Vegas is hosting this event. The Recording Academy CEO said that Grammy Awards 2022 will be made as a world-class show and the necessary preparations are underway. The change of date and venue happened as a result of the Covid surge in the US.

Paleyfest Returns as an In-person Festival after 3 Years

Paleyfest is an iconic television festival that celebrates TV shows and series every year. This year’s 39th Annual PaleyFest LA has now been scheduled to take place for 10 days from April 2 to April 10 in Los Angeles Dolby Theatre. The Covid pandemic has forced the show to go virtual in the past three years. Now, as we’re getting used to the new normal, the show is returning with the in-person format. The line-up for the upcoming fest was announced by the Paley Centre for Media. The list includes Emily in Paris, This Is Us, Cobra Kai, Better Call Saul, Superman & Lois, Riverdale and a few other popular shows. The festival also features some exclusive BTS conversations and footage from popular shows and series.

Netflix to Release 2 Dozen K-Dramas in 2022

It was reported that Netflix spent around half-billion dollars on Korean dramas last year. The majestic success of ‘Squid Game’ helped Netflix surpass the investment easily. Therefore the company has decided to invest further in K-Dramas in the current year too. Netflix has decided to release around 25 Korean Originals in 2022 and it is twice that of the release in the previous year. As 95% of the viewership for ‘Squid Game’ are outside Korea, this streaming platform is so keen on investing further in Korean content. Some upcoming K-Releases on Netflix are ‘All of Us are Dead’ and ‘Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area’.
