Hollywood again had a big and busy week. And here we are back to informate and entertain you with the latest Hollywood buzzes from the final week of this January. We have brought you some rumors about Taylor Swift’s engagement, Mission Impossible’s postponement, a new character introduction to Euphoria and a couple of releases on Netflix.

Taylor Swift Ignites Rumors on Engagement

The adoring couple Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift have been in a relationship for quite some time now. They have been dating each other and their relationship seems to be going stronger than ever. As a result, the fans started expecting that the couple would tie the knot soon. Now as a form of confirming the fan’s speculation, this couple has gone on a romantic vacation to the beautiful ceremonial county of Cornwall. It’s been widely conjectured that the couple might soon make an official announcement about their wedding.

Return to Work Safety Protocols Extended till Feb 13

As the Covid situation around the world is in an uphill phase most parts of the world are going back into restrictions and lockdowns. Hollywood is no exception to this. With the rise in COVID-19 cases in the US most of the productions, releases and other activities related to the industry have been halted. 

In order to ensure the safety of its workers during this pandemic, the industry, Guilds and the studios brought some safety protocols into action in 2020 in the name of a Return-to-Work agreement. It was initially launched for a few months but got extended to a year till September 2021. Now, this agreement was further extended until February 13, 2022, and the AMPTP confirmed this on Monday. They also added that the return-to-safety agreement could be extended further depending on the Covid situation in February.

Delay in the Release of Mission Impossible 7 and 8

The most popular Mission Impossible series is back with their 7th and 8th movies. These two films have been in production for months but again, Covid has forced them to delay the release. Mission Impossible 7 was initially planned to be released in July 2020 which was then postponed to December, then November 2021, May 2022 and then to September. Now, the team has officially confirmed that the release of Mission Impossible 7 & 8 is further pushed to  July 2023 and June 2024 respectively. The production house Paramount said that they wanted to provide an unparalleled and safe viewing experience for the audiences and therefore this delay is unavoidable. The already prolonged wait of the fans is about to continue further for another year.

Young Cal Jacobs from Euphoria Gaining Attention

The 3rd episode of Euphoria’s season 2 starred Elias Kacavas as a young Cal Jacobs. Since then he got the attention of the people due to his talented acting and attractive looks. It was a major role in the series and he is portraying the complex backstory of the character, hence he received a huge spotlight. Elias Kacavas is a budding actor and he’s from New Hampshire. He studied acting at NYU and did some professional acting. He was recently seen in ‘Pretty Little Liars’ apart from ‘Euphoria’. 

Kanye West Documentary Premiered at Sundance Film Festival

‘jeen-yuhs’, the first of the three-part documentary on Kanye West was premiered at Sundance Film Festival on 23rd January 2022. There was an interesting reaction from the audience after watching its premiere. They commented that the documentary was both wildly entertaining and super frustrating. The movie is all set to get a theatrical release on February 10 and an OTT release on Netflix on February 16.  Moon Knight Actor Passed Away in an Accident

Gaspard Ulliel, who will be soon seen as Midnight Man in the movie Moon Knight, passed away last week in a skiing accident. This French actor lost his life at the age of 37. The incident happened in France where the actor was involved in skiing and got collided with another skier. He suffered a severe blow to the head and succumbed to the injuries. He passed away days after the trailer of Marvel’s Moon Knight was released which received a huge reception from the audience.

Teaser of Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio Dropped on Netflix

Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio is an upcoming stop-motion animated fantasy film that is to be released on Netflix in December 2022. This movie is produced by Netflix Animations and a few other production houses. This featured film was first announced a decade ago. Finally, Netflix recently released the teaser of the Pinocchio movie on their Youtube channel and also announced that the movie will be released somewhere in December 2022. Watch the teaser here:
