Cluster bombs: Cluster bombs contain many bomblets. It's also called cluster munitions with smaller bombs called submunitions or bomblets. Some bomblets don't detonate immediately and explode later when civilian come in contact after years to come. Children and women are killed if they wrongly come in contact with them..More than hundred countries have banned the use of cluster bombs. Dublin convention 2008 prohibits the use,production,stockpiling and transfer of cluster munitions. Cluster munitions consists of container or dispenser which release submunitions called submunitions or bomblets.

Farmer distress Index: It is created to minimise agrarian distress by crop filure or loss and income shock. It will pre warn state,central and local bodies from spread of distress.The distress is assessed by death by suicide,debt repayment,drought,pestattack,flood,drought and migration. Telephonic interviews with small ,margional and tenant farmers using 21 standard questions and further the answers are mapped against seven indicators viz.,exposure to crop failure, adaptive capacity of farmers,land hlding and irrigation facility,growing of contingency crop ,health related expenditure and impact of socio psychological factor and its impact.
Index will assign 0-1(0-0.5-low distress,0.5-0.7 moderate distress,above 0.7. severe distress)
